I'm currently partnering with a leading global quantitative hedge fund looking to hire a Chief Financial Officer as part of its next phase of growth.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role within a highly sophisticated, data-driven investment platform, working closely with the COO and founders to build an institutional-grade finance function globally.
What makes this interesting
* True build role with significant influence over structure, systems, and strategy
* Highly quantitative, tech-driven environment with global reach
* Direct exposure to senior leadership and key decision-making
* Opportunity to scale a finance function from the ground up
The role
You will take ownership of the firm's global finance capability across both corporate and fund structures, covering reporting, treasury, tax, and operational finance.
A core part of the remit is establishing best-in-class controls, governance, and reporting frameworks, while supporting fund launches, new entity setup, and international expansion.
You'll also manage key external relationships across auditors, administrators, and banking partners, and build out a high-calibre team over time.
What they're looking for
* Proven CFO or senior finance leadership experience within a hedge fund or asset manager
* Strong understanding of multi-entity, multi-jurisdictional platforms
* Track record of building or scaling finance functions
* Hands-on, commercially minded, and comfortable operating at both strategic and execution level
